Propeller Maintenance for Biomass Briquette Machine

Addtime:2013-12-24 14:23:15   Author:manufacturer   visited:1315

After the continuous running of 24 hours, the screw propeller should be checked and maintained in time.

Preheat the front part of the screw propeller until the surface temperature reaches 350℃ before repairing it.

When the screw propeller wears down, weld the wearing parts by using the welding rod according to the wearing situations, after welding well, grind the surface of welding at once to avoid crack. (You can learn the degree of welding by comparing with the unused screw propeller that comes with the biomass briquette machine as spared one.)

Compare the worn screw propeller with the unused one that comes with the machine, and grind it to the same angle as the unused one.

(NOTE: Before completely mastering the screw propeller maintenance skill, please remember to keep an unused screw propeller as a standard reference.)

Material for biomass briquetting

The best materials for briquetting are sawdust and other woody residues, because these contain a high proportion of lignin. However, most dry agricultural residues can be used if they are ground into a coarse powder. Grain straw and dried grasses do not make good briquettes on their own, but work well when mixed with woody materials to provide the lignin. Bagasse, shells (such as from peanuts) husks (such as rice husks and corn cobs) and pine needles make reasonable briquettes. However rice husks are abrasive due to their silica content, and can reduce the life of machine components.
