Product Description

This wood chipper and crusher is a integrated machine combining wood chipper and wood crusher together. It is suitable for crushing big diameter wood log at high capacity.

The first part of this machine is wood chipper, which can shred wood log into wood chips of thickness 15-35mm and length 3-5cm; The second part is a hammer crusher, which can further crush the wood chips into 1-10mm sawdust.

Material can be wood log ,wood chips, straw, palm fiber and other wood biomass material .

The crushed material would be sawdust or powder shape ,which can make pellet or briquette .

Advantage of Wood Chipper and Crusher

High automation. the operation needs only 1 or 2 person. The feeding can be manual or through belt conveyor.

High efficiency. Its design avoids the trouble of blocking crushing chamber or bad crushing effect caused by fast feeding appeared on traditional crusher machine.

High convenience. The user can also choose only one part(wood chipper or crusher) to work , or both parts to work according to their own request.

Material for biomass briquetting

The best materials for briquetting are sawdust and other woody residues, because these contain a high proportion of lignin. However, most dry agricultural residues can be used if they are ground into a coarse powder. Grain straw and dried grasses do not make good briquettes on their own, but work well when mixed with woody materials to provide the lignin. Bagasse, shells (such as from peanuts) husks (such as rice husks and corn cobs) and pine needles make reasonable briquettes. However rice husks are abrasive due to their silica content, and can reduce the life of machine components.
